What is The Secret?
The Secret is the Law of Attraction. It is one of the most fundamental laws in our physical universe; that like attracts like, even at the level of thoughts. This implies that a person who has a tendency to focus their mind positively would actually perceive and affect their own world differently than an individual who focuses their mind negatively.
Amazing eh?
If things were just that simple, then all anyone would have to do to ‘manifest’ what they want is to.... think about it... However, that’s not the case, if it was; everyone would be a millionaire! Then what’s missing? Well, in this article I will reveal a few things that are missing from this formula: (1) Unconscious Focusing, (2) Action and (3) Providing Value for others.
Unconscious Focusing:
First off, most of us are only using approximately 5-10% of our human brain!!!! What does that mean? That most of the things and thoughts that are going on in our brain; is... well.. unconscious and AUTOMATIC. This means that even if you DO focus your mind on what you want, chances are that the majority of your mind is on auto-pilot and who KNOWS what it’s focusing on? Failure? The past? Nevertheless, there are methods to becoming more aware, such as meditation or just analyzing your own belief and value systems.
Action:
Secondly, there is NO MAGIC at all in using the Law of Attraction. Thoughts become things.. yes, but because you DO something about it. There’s no magic fairy dust coming out of the air to give you a car, or a wonderful partner or that 6 pack of abs. You actually have to EARN money, meet people and yes, exercise, to achieve what you desire in this lifetime. However, if you’re focused on what you want, when you’re doing these actions, they can actually be enjoyable, instead of being a chore.
Providing Value:
Finally, this one applies mainly to finances, but it also applies for relationships and any other area of your life. In order to get more, you also have to give and provide more to others. The reason someone would want to give YOU money, is if they believe that whatever you have to offer is worth more than the money you’re asking for it. To put it bluntly, people are NOT STUPID, and they trade money for something they VALUE over money; be it a feeling, a service, a product; your time, or information, etc.
